How long does a home EV charger installation take in Brisbane?+
Most standard installations are completed in three to four hours. Installations that require a switchboard upgrade or a long cable run can take a full day.
Do I need three phase power?+
No. A single phase 7kW charger adds roughly 40km of range per hour, which covers overnight charging for almost every Brisbane household. Three phase 11kW or 22kW is worth it for high daily distances or two EVs.
Will my switchboard need upgrading?+
Only if it lacks capacity, space or modern protection. Older Brisbane homes often do. We assess your board before quoting so there are no surprises on installation day.
Can I charge from my solar?+
